The
imports of parts and components of automotive
industry exceeded $7 billion dollars in the
first half of 2007. The portion of engine reached
$697 million dollars, up 16.43% year-on-year,
parts & components and bus bodies reached
$6.124 billion dollars, up 14.33% year-on-year,
tyres reached $94 million dollars, up 20.36%
year-on-year, and other related products reached
$351 million dollars, down 10.75% year-on-year.
The
total imports of above four types of automotive
products reached $7.266 billion dollars in the
first half of 2007, occupying 62% of total auto's
imports. Meanwhile, some pivotal spare parts,
such as air bags, gearboxes, driven axles also
have further growth, respectively reached $165
million dollars, $1.461 billion dollars and
$52 million dollars, up 120%, 66.09% and 180%
year-on-year.
