China Auto Vehicle Development Condition in 1st 7 Months

China's motor vehicle sales and production both rose more than 20 percent in the first seven months of the year.Auto sales in the January-July period surged 23.3 percent from a year ago to 5.11 million units, while output rose 24.7 percent to 5.01 million, indicating the country is well on track to raise both its output and sales to a record 8.5 million for the full year.

About 1.49 million buse and strucks left factory floor.

The 10 biggest automakers sold 4.15 million vehicles, taking an 83-percent market share.

China surpassed Japan in 2006 to become the world's No. 2 auto market, with total sales of 7.2 million vehicles and output of 7.3 million.
