On
september 3, Feng xingfu, Vice General Manager
of Beijing Public Transportation Holding Ltd.,
Company, expressed at "ZF donation of Low
Floor Axles To Beijing Public Transportation
Holding Ltd For Olympic Battery Bus" that
there will be 2567 units low-floor Public Transportation
buses to be put into operation before this year
in Beijing.
"During
period of Beijing Olympic Games,"Feng also
added, "Public Transportation Group is
in charge of reseaching, producing and operating
50 Olympic Battery Buses in Olympic Village
,Media Village and Central Olympic Area."
At present, they have finished research and
production of 7 Olympic Battery Buses and 5
of which have been put into operation.
Journalists
learned from Beijing Public Transportation Group
that 12 Public Transportation Stations will
set up bilingual labels.By now, stations such
as Datun, Xiaoying, Kangjiagou, Xiangshan, Xiaozhuang
and Youleyuan etc. have been undering construction,
which is said to be finished until the middle
ten days of this month.Moreover,Stations like
Dongsishitiao, Jishutan, Caihuying, Huoying,
Yuquanlu, Zhichunli are examining alternation
projects,which is said to be finished until
November.
