Shandong
first BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), which product
by Zhongtong Bus Company in August 23. It indicates
Shangdong province gaining substantive break-through
in intelligence traffic of bus industry. This
bus is 18 meters long, 2.54 meters wide, can
hold 175 people. BRT (Bus Rapid Transit, the
fast and large capacity public transit system)
is regarded as the strong carriers which serves
urban construction and public transport, it
is a kind of new operation system between rail
transportation and regular public transit, it
utilizes technology of modern public transit
to cooperate with the operation and management
of the intellectual traffic, makes the traditional
public transit system basically to reach the
service level of the rail transportation, its
investment and operation cost are lower than
the rail transportation, near to the regular
public transport.

at the trend of BRT in world, Zhongtong Bus
