In
the morning of September 18, Guilin, China`s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,
the "City Bus delivery ceremony" was held in Guilin Daewoo Bus Co.,
Ltd. After Vietnam Mechanical Corporation general manager Li received golden key
from Zhao zaishao, general manager of Guilin Daewoo, 15 units Guilin Daewoo City
Buses drived slowly through company Gate and were delivered to the Vietnam customer.
This is the second cooperation between the two parties since Guilin Daewoo had
exported Buses to Vietnam this July. The
first cooperation between the two parties began three months ago, when Li, general
manager of Vietnam Mechanical Corporation paid a business visit to China. Through
careful investigation, They had order 10 units "Venus 1" sleeper buses
from Guilin Daewoo. After put into operation, these buses received both drivers
and passengers` high praises rely on their steady and reliable performances.This
has caused another cooperation between the two parties. 
In
recent years, Guilin Daewoo actively explored Public Transportation market, and
has successively launched "city pioneer" and "city view" series
buses. These two type buses have been recognized by the markets due to their novelty
appearance, low energy consumption, and environment protection. Then, Guilin Daewoo
has swifty gained its own position in Vietnamese Public Transport market. This
GDW6900HG city bus, launched by Guilin Daewoo in late 2006, is a 9-meters economical
city bus which adopts Yuchai engine, with maximum 64 Seating capacities. The framework
of whole bus is a close circled design. The Vietnam Mechanical Corporation general
manager Li expressed Guilin Daewoo buses has an outstanding performance and all
the designs can meet Vietnam road`s conditions. With its high price-performance
ratio, Guilin Daewoo will become more and more popular in Vietnam. In
addition, Vietnam Mechanical Corporation has signed a contract with Guilin Daewoo,
of which 16 units "Venus 1" GDW6121 sleeper buses will being exported
to Vietnam in this early October.
