After
signed the 500-unit order with Russia at second half of this March, Yutong international
business dept. highly demonstrated the bus industry with an official agreement
between Yutong and Cuba, which covered 5348 units of buses and valued 3.7 US dollars
ranging from the year 2007 to 2009. It is ranked as the largest sales contract
of China's bus industry in recent decade. Yutong group achieved "Guinness
Records of Export" in China's bus industry. The
total value of Cuba contract is a breakthrough of epic proportion in Yutong's
exporting history, and at the same time, the exported product structure is improved
across-the-board. In terms of the agreement, the exported buses from Yutong to
Cuba ranged from city bus, commuter bus, school bus, long-distance coach, tourism
coach and disabled people bus. Accordingly, 1348 units will be delivered in 2007.
At present, the models such as city bus and tourism coach were already on the
production line. The reporter is impressed that the production of Cuba bus was
organized neatly in the workshop. 
Besides
the sales of bus, Yutong group will continue the cooperation with ministry of
transportation of Cuba to entrust the subsidiary factory of the ministry of Industry
of Cuba to assemble CKD of buses, which materialized the export of Yutong's brand
and know-how. From
the first 400-unit order in the year 2005, which regarded as the most quantitative
and valuable order, to the end of 2006, Yutong has exported 1200 units accumulatively
to Cuba within two years, and sharing 99% of imported quantity of Cuba market.
Simultaneously, Yutong started off its CKD production line and spread network
of after sales service in the whole country of Cuba. The
signing of this order indicated that Yutong's strategy of being the prime bus
supplier in the world is realized step by step. Yutong is provided with the capability
of facing up to the international market, and will take the lead in the realization
of creating in China.
