a leader of high-grade buses market, Jinhua Neoplan has become the biggest spotlight
in 2006 large-sized buses market. In 2006, Jinhua Neoplan has saled 1250 units
Group buses and realised sales income RMB 2.4 billion. From 2001 to 2006 six consecutive
years, Jinhua Neoplan has been awarded five "first" respectively in
"production value; bus sales; year-to-year increase; high-grade bus profits
and bus degree". On September 20, a coverage group composed by domestic network
medias paied a visit to Neoplan in Jinhua, Zhejiang province so as to better understand
this high-grade luxury buses manufacturer. Acoording
to the indroduction of Guo aihong, the general manager of Jinhua Neoplan, Neoplan
18 meters luxury buses, launched by Jinhua Neoplan in 2006, have been put into
operation in Beijing and Hangzhou`s BRT lines. Moreover, Jinhua Neoplan has exceeded
other competitors like Volvo to be the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games bus supplier.
At present, Jinhua Neoplan has delivered 500 units Olympic buses to Beijing, and
winned another 300 units bid. The president of Jinhua Neoplan Pang qingnian expressed
the number will attain more than 1000 units before openning of Beijing Olympic
Games. Together
with the introduction and assimilation of overseas advanced Technology, China`s
high-grade luxury buses manufacturing technology has stepped into world-class
level and Jinhua Neoplan has possessed the first position in this area. In accordance
with introduction, nowadays, Jinhua Neoplan`s luxury buse worthed 1.3 millon RMB
occupied more than 70% market share and luxury buses worthed 2 million RMB 100%
market share. Hence, Jinhua Neoplan has established its 1st position in domestic
high-grade buses market. Statistics
showed, up to 2006, China sales totally 21,059 units large buses, increasing 5.85%
year-on-year, the largest increment in bus industry. Under the background of both
Beijing Olympic Games and countrywide surge of building BRT lines, Jinhua Neoplan`s
BRT buses will keep increasing highly. It is said that the sales amount of BRT
buses will surpass tranditional buses. Industry experts predict if Beijing passes
test of 25 meters BRT Buses, Jinhua Neoplan is very likely to monopolize domestic
BRT Buses market.
