The
first Automotive Parts Research Center has been established in Jilin University,
Northeast China`s Jinin province on September 26. According
to introduction, Automotive Parts Research Center, which is composed of nearly
200 professors and associate professors came from Jilin University`s Institute
of Automotive and Engineering; Institute of Mechanical Science and Engineering
and Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering, will undertake the work of operating
the development of automotive parts in Jilin province. The
objectives of the research center are to set up technical research platform for
automotive parts, to strengthen the self-research ability of enterprises produced
automotive parts, to foster and form first-class exploring ability of automotive
parts and to do creative researches in key technology of automotive parts.
