September 29th, Cuban time, 398 units Yutong Coaches have been shipped to Havana,
the capital city of Cuba. It is the largest scaled coaches which arrived at Cuba
port. The next day, Lahe , vice president of Cuba State Council, along with Xiela,
communication minister of Cuba and Sais, secretary of Communist Party of Havana
went to the Havana public transport base to inspect the newly arrived Yutong coaches. Looking
at the new Yutong coaches, Xiela was very excited, he said :"There have been
Yutong sample buses which has made a trial in Cuba before these coaches arrived
at Havana. This batch of Yutong public transport buses has been improved and amended
according to characteristics of Cuba markets. We are proudly to say Cuba finally
has buses which are suitable for ourselves." Lahe
expressed, as a part of Cuba Communication plan, these newly arrived Yutong coaches
will be used to improve Cuba each province's public transportation. Thereinto,
the average of passenger capacity of Havana everyday will be raised from 580,000
to 1 millon. He also concluded three characteristics of Yutong bus: superior quality,
oil-saving and reasonable price. "Cuba goverment will make good use of these
coaches to serve its communication, providing better sevice to Cubans." he
