FAW-Hongta delivers 130 EV vehicles to the U.S. market Source : gasgoo.com [Posted on Oct 25,2007 at 9:10]FAW-Hongta Yunnan Automobile Co has delivered another 130 Happy Emissary electric vehicles to the United States, Shanghai Securities Journal reported today.

FAW-Hongta is a joint venture company with FAW Group and China Hongta Group in Yunnan province. The company began light-weight automobile production in China in 1997 with an annual output capacity of 150,000 vehicles. The company has a platform for both commercial and passenger vehicles.

In addition to distributing their vehicles nationwide, FAW-Hongta has also been exporting to more than 10 nations throughout Asia.
