November 12, 2007, the Minister of National Science and Technology Ministry Wan
Gang and members of the party group visited Zhongtong Bus Share Holding Company,
accompanied by deputy governor of Shangdong Province Wang Junmin, General Secretary
of Liaocheng (where Zhongtong Company locates) Song Yuanfang and Mayor Lin Haifeng. Chairman
of Zhongtong Wang Qingfu, general manager Li Haiping and the principal of Zhongtong
Electric Bus project Wang Qinpu introduced development of Zhongtong Company, including
technological innovation, production, export business and the situation of two
big projects of "Hybrid Bus Research" and "Pure Electric Bus Research
for Beijing Olympics"

Minister
of National Science and Technology Ministry Wan Gang visited Zhongtong high-class
product line, the minister also test on Zhongtong low-floor hybrid city bus and
pure electric city bus especially for Beijing Olympics, both types will be delivered
to Beijing Public Transportation. After enjoyed by himself, the minister Wan Gang
spoke highly on Zhongtong research development.

Minister
said: the hybrid-powered bus and the pure electric bus are both big projects of
National Science and Technology Ministry, these new energy buses are obviously
on energy saving and environment protection, also have a bright prospects whatever
the domestic and overseas market. Zhongtong pure electric bus will be service
to Beijing Olympics, that's representing the big achievement for China bus industry,
and also representing the high development level of Shangdong manufacturing.

also expressed appreciation for the support of Shangdong Province and Liaocheng
Municipal, and he expect Zhongtong will pay more attention on these two important
projects, based on the market-oriented; realize industrial as soon as possible.
