Weichai Power, Canada Westport and HongKong Peterson signed an agreement to set up a new joint venture energy power company. According to the agreement, the three parties will jointly develop and produce the alternative fuel engine for automotive, power generation and shipping.

Weichai Power Co., Ltd set up by Weifang Diesel Engine Factory together with domestic and foreign investors. Weichai power is a modern enterprise as well as the major enterprise in China specializing in the research and development, manufacturing and sales of diesel engines. The products are widely applicable to different markets, including heavy-duty vehicles, coaches, construction machines, vessels and power generator.
