After
ordering 30 HFF6902K55 luxury buses from Ankai in May this year, Beijing Capital
Auto (Group) Co., Ltd. extends the olive branch to Ankai once again in August
and orders another 40 HFF6121K40 luxury buses. All the buses served for 17th CPC
National Congress. Ankai
HFF6121K40 luxury bus is provided with advanced exclusive technology of Kaessbohrer
and unitary body structure. It is in accordance to design standards for large
buses. The whole body is safer and more conformable and economical. It adopts
Yuchai Euro 3 engine, 2 front air pockets and 4 back ones, retarder and automatic
gap adjustment arm which is made of No.16 manganese steel of Shanghai Baosteel.
The frame strength is 3-6 times of a common body and 1.5t lighter than a body
using the traditional chassis. The unique independent suspension system of front
bridge of Kaessbohrer will change the arm of force to reduce the carriage sloshing
resulted from side force when the bus is turning. It is perfectly integrated with
the unitary body and may balance the twisting force out, thus improves the driving
safety and comfort of passengers. In
1999, 20 Ankai buses became designated bus for Annual Conference of Fortune Global
Forum in Shanghai. In February 2002, two reception buses designated for Olympic
Games bidding were put into use in Beijing. In April 2005, 15 Ankai Setra luxury
buses were listed as designated buses for "Asian Boao Forum 1995", providing
reception service for world political dignitaries. Now Ankai has entered the queue
serving for 2008 Olympic Games that will be held soon. The first domestic "mobile
catering truck" refitted from Ankai HFF6121K40 bus drove into the service
channel for 2008 Olympic Games in June 2007. Recently, Ankai is elaborately making
up a 12-meter electric car designated for Olympic Games. It is believed that Ankai
bus will become a bright spot on 2008 Olympic Games.
