On
12 December 2007, the fiftieth anniversary of China Bus Industry Awards was held
in Beijing Jinyuan Hotel, hosted by China Auto News and Ministry of Construction,
Commission of Science & Technologies, Urban vehicles experts committee. Some
entities and individuals that have outstanding contributions to the development
of China Bus Industry was awarded, meanwhile, representatives from some bus enterprises
and related industries, governors, experts and scholars, media delegates came
together to discuss about sustainable development and how to face internationalization

Golden Dragon became the winner and won six awards including Top 10 Enterprises,
Top 10 Brands, Top 10 Travel Buses(Golden Dragon XML6127), Top 10 City Buses(Golden
Dragon XML6125J93C), Top 10 Light Buses(Sea Lion XML6532E3YM) and Top 10 Travel
Buses Nominated(Golden Dragon XML6121). Xiamen
Golden Dragon was founded in 1992 with only 30 employees and few funds, producing
light bus at the beginning, researching and developing light bus in 1997 and manufacturing
large bus from 1999. Now,
it has becomes one of the most comprehensive bus manufacturers with its 40 products
series of all kinds of buses from 4.8 to 13.7 meters and 5 to 66 seating. It is
the sales runner-up the 4th years consecutively, what is more, it has made a magic
that the integrated index keeps a doubt-digit growth the last 14th years consecutively.
"Moderate
Size and Rolling-type Development" is the development strategy; "Scientific
Management and Good Services" is the tenet and "Honesty" is the
faith of Xiamen Golden Dragon. Until October 2007, Golden Dragon Company has sold
more than 20 thousands buses, with an increase of 10% compared with the same period
last year. Golden Dragon was titled with "China Top Brands" again and
selected Top 500 China Brands this year and also selected China Machinery Top
500 the 5th year consecutively. Golden
Dragon has its own professional team workers and advanced technology, cooperating
with famous international bus enterprises and having great success. The overseas
market is largely expanded and products were sold to East Europe, Far East, Middle
East, Southeast Asia, South Africa, North Africa and Central America and other
countries and areas. On 17 August 2006, Golden Dragon Company was appointed as
National Auto Export Base Enterprise. Totally, it has exported more than ten thousands
buses until the end of November in 2007, with an increase of 600% compared with
the same period last year and was the first one in bus industry. Golden
Dragon people are also struggling for a wonderful future.
