from DongFeng Automobile Co., Ltd. show that, from January to November 2007, the
company has produced approximately 1.05 million automobiles and sold nearly 1.02
million automobiles. With the Produce and Sales amount exceeded 1 million, DongFeng
Automobile has ahead of schedule achieved the goal to be a million scaled automobile
manufacturer. Early
this year, Xu ping, the general manager of DongFeng Automobile Co.,
Ltd, had set the operation objectives to produce and sale 1 million units
vehicles in 2007 and realised sales revenue RMB 150 billion. Meanwhile, Xu emphasized,
exceeding 1 million units is not a simple number conception, We must pay more
emphasis on the raise of operation quality and profit, the ability of independent
innovation as well as international management level while we are expanding our
operation scale. Figures
from sales condition of DongFeng show the proportion of passenger vehicle and
commercial vehicle DongFeng manufactured from five years ago 3:7 to 7:3 now, changing
the condition that it used to emphasize medium and large trucks before. Now the
products of DongFeng covers from whole serial commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles,
auto parts to vehicle manufacturing equipments. DongFeng has been one of the rare
domestic automobile manufacturers whose products cover from all vehicle types.
