According
to the introduction, the first batch of Midea coaches in 2008 will roll on road
of Lhasa, Tibet. This batch of 20 units Midea YK6100G public transport coaches
will provide communication convenience to Tibetan ethnic group and be handed over
on January 3rd, 2008. Situated
in southwest China and southwest of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Lhasa, the capital
of Tibet, is the highest peak in the world due to its average 4500 meters above
sea level. So the complex road conditions in Lhasa poses high requirements on
public transport vehicles.
Although
the public transportation in Tibet has developped rapidly these years, it also
can not satisfy the Tibet's transport requirements. Along with the open of Qinghai-Tibet
railway, Lhasa, which has a long history, brilliant cultural tradition, unique
local customs and beautiful highland scenes, becomes more and more attractive
all over the world. Midea YK6100G Coaches will enter Tibet in batches, successfully
running on "the world ridge". This embody the good quality and reliability
of Midea coaches.
