In
the morning of 18 December, Yuchai Lubrication and Friction Institute was founded
and the opening ceremony was grandly held in Yuchai. Yan Ping, board chairman
of Yuchai Group, and Huiwen Chen, board chairman of Yuchai Lubricating Oil Company,
attended and announced the opening of the new institute. The main guests present
were Ronghua Chen, sales manager of Exxon Mobil Corporation in China and Hong
Kong, vice president Chongfei Tang and product manager Junmin Chao and sales vice
manager Changjiang Chang who are from Lubrizol Lanlian Additive Co.Ltd, Xiaodong
Liu, manager of Beijing Office and Baiqiang Yu, manager of Asia-Pacific Auto Oil
of Chevron Oronite (Tianjin) International Trade Co., Ltd. Chou
Bin, president of Yuchai Engineering Academy, presided the ceremony, and he appointed
Xiaohong Cai and Deng Bin as the vice president of Yuchai Lubrication and Friction
respectively, according to the personnel nominated document. Yan
Ping addressed to the ceremony, greeting and appreciating all the experts and
technical personnel and wishing a good future of the Academy's construction and
development. "Yuchai Engineering Academy was founded in June this year, both
Chinese and foreign partners had reached an agreement that they will invest 310
million RMB to build the Academy in three years", he said, "this is
a happy event to Yuchai People, wish more and more research institutes and technical
personnel and foreign and domestic experts to join in". Yuchai
Engineering Academy aims is to be one of the best in the world, and as a subsidiary
company, Lubrication and Friction Institute's tenet is "strengthen product
research and development, enhance oil quality and promote Yuchai Lubricating Oil
and related Frication industry."
