On
December 26, more than forty units green-colored Higer 6608 buses drived out of
Higer Bus Company Limited to Shunyi District, Beijing. According
to the introduction, This batche of Higer buses has been a part of totally 88
units Higer buses which served for Beijing's project to extend Transportation
to every village . Until now, all the Higer buses Beijing ordered have been delivered
to Beijing. These Higer buses will be put into operation in Beijing's every village. 
Early
this November, Beijing accelerated the step of "the project to extend Transportation
to every village in Beijing". Having been awarded "China Top Brand",
Higer bus has gained concern from Beijing Transportation and Communication department.
After severely selection, Higer KLQ6758 and KLQ6608 type buses have been choosed
by Beijing's Huairou, Tongzhou, Pinggu district and Miyun district. These district
have totally purchased 43 units Higer buses as the main vehicle of the project.
It is learnt
that Beijing have 3,953 administrative villages and 3,519 used public transport
lines. There also have 434 administrative villages which have not openned public
transport lines. In order to realize the project to extend Transportation to every
village in 2008, Beijing municipal government has adopted a series of favourable
policies to facilitate this project. As a China famous bus brand, Higer will bring
an fresh air to Beijing Public transportation, providing better transport service
to Beijing citizens.
