released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show the total value
of China auto import and export had reached 66.878 billion US dollars in 2007,
in which import value attained 25.982 billion US dollars, up 24.45 percent year-on-year
while export value attained 40.896 billion US dollars, up 45.31 percent year-on-year. In
2007, China accumulative imported auto amounts reached 314,200 units, up 37.80
percent year-on-year. Compared with same period last year, the net auto import
volume had risen 86,200 units. Total imports amount reached 10.68 billion US dollars,
up 41.40 percent year-on-year. In
2007, China auto export continued its robust increase, of which export volume
exceeded 0.6 milliom units, attaining 612,700 units; export amount surpassed 7
