| 19-02-2008 Recently,
Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau issued that since 1 March 2008, all light
spark ignition engine buses registered with Beijing license plate, namely passenger
and commercial gas vehicles with maximum quality belowe 3.5 tons will implement
relevant national IV emission standard, meanwhile, dealers must stop selling vehicles
and vehicles which do not meet the above standard are not allowed to be registered.
Actually
speaking, industry insiders have got the news half year before. On one hand many
manufacuturers are actively preparing for technology upgrade of existed models,
on the other hand, they are also clearing up left national III emission standard
vehicles, which causes a price gap between vehicles of same model but different
type. It was
said that because of the higher demand of technology for national IV emission
standard vehicles, the cost will increase thouands Yuan, price of some middle
and luxury models even increase more. But it was worth to say that due to vehicle
dealers's discount of national III vehicles, many customers were eager to buy,
which happened a "vehicle purchase stream" during the new spring festival
period. Reporters
found that all national III vehicles almost sold out in Beijing, if you want to
buy, you should ask some man in the middle for help.
