the past of 2007, Volvo Group concluded its intense business. The sales and operating
income reached record levels. Net sales for the full year increased by 10% to
SEK 285.4 billion. Operating income for the full year rose 9% to SEK 22,231 million.
In the fourth quarter of 2007, income for the period rose 11% to SEK 4,094 million. Volve
Group has several business branches, including bus&coach, engine, chassis,
truck, etc. The Volvo Buses product range encompasses complete buses, bus chassis
and related services. These products are used in a variety of ways, primarily
for passenger transportation and for other special purposes. Volvo's buses are
designed to meet a wide range of demands from the most widely differing markets.
Safety and environmental considerations play a central role in their development.
