In the night of March 11, 2008, Shanghai Shenlong became a shining star in the BAAV2008 Award Ceremony & Reception. Shenlong SLK6142 has been awarded "Bus Appearance of the Year" and Shenlong got the award "Coach Marketing of the Year", becoming the biggest winner in Busworld Asia 2008.

Since established in 2004, Shanghai Shenlong's sales revenue has successively risen recent years. In January 2008, 347 units Shenlong bus have been saled, up 123 percent year-on-year and ranking thirteenth in China bus industry. In 2007, Shenlong saled 2361 units bus and sales revenue exceeded RMB 800 million, of which nearly 500 units buses have been exported to overseas and sales revenue hit RMB 200 million which ranked eighth in the industry. So it seems convinced for Shenlong to win the award "Coach Marketing of the Year".

At the beginning of the exhibition, Shenlong's exhibit stage was full of crowded people who want to understand Shenlong, and nealy a quarter of which are overseas visitors. It was the third time that Shenlong participated in the Busworld Asia Exhibition. Shenlong had been awared previously in the Busworld Asia Exhibition and getting awards this time was a recognize which will stir the development of Shenlong in the future.
