Beijing Public Transport Holding, Ltd changes many old-style buses before the starting of Olympic Games that will be held in Beijing, August 8, 2008. Dandong Huanghai Automobile Co., Ltd wins big order from Beijing at last year. In order to provide a good service to Beijing Olympic Games, Huanghai Automobile Co., Ltd set up a special team in 2004, which is called Beijing Olympic Bus (BOB).
The team of BOB upgrades the related products’ design, quality and after-service and receives a very good feedback from the market. Huanghai Automobile Co., Ltd utilizes this opportunity to expand its market share. It sold more that 3,000 buses in total and occupied the first position in pass three years.
Dandong Huanghai Automobile Co Ltd is a joint venture company formed on Nov.22, 2002 between Dandong Shuguang Axles Co Ltd and Liaoning Huanghai Automobile (Group) Co Ltd, holding 51% and 49% of shares respectively with large- and mid- sized Huanghai buses as its major products, Dandong Huanghai's main business includes development, designing, manufacturing and marketing of complete built up buses, trucks, chassis and parts and components.
