From "Innovation Spirit" put forward by exhibitors to "2008 BAAV Annual Best Innovative Bus Award" and "2008 BAAV Annual Best Innovative Coach Award" set by 2008 Buswrold Asia, the "Innovation Concept" has become the mainstream of March in public voice in China bus and coach industry.
It was said that why BAAV sets "Innovation Award" is because of the LUC's speech, who is the chairman of BAAV, because his article "Asia Coach Would not Affect Europe Manufacturing" was released by a magazine named "Bus & Coach". And the article is said is a rumor to denigrate China coach design level.
Some China coach industrial insiders said what the article says is defiance to whole China coach industry.
LUC later explained that the released article is not promised and the content is abbreviated.
So after the exhibition in Belgium in 2007, organizer of Shanghai Busworld Asia tries to communicate with BAAV and puts forward a new plan to set "Innovation Award" for stressing the "Innovation Spirit" of China coaches.
During the exhibition in 2008 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Xiamen Golden undertook the two big awards: "2008 BAAV Annual Best Innovative Bus Award" and "2008 BAAV Annual Best Innovative Coach Award".
It is said that some overseas manufacturers are afraid the developing China bus and coch industry, who will plunder the market shares originally belong to them.
