China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition started in 2003. Based on the positioning of "High Quality, Internationalization and Comprehensiveness", it has become one of the China's largest international automobile exhibitions after five years' development.
The exhibition area of the 5th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition hit a historic height, reaching 100,000㎡, among which complete cars zone covered 80,000㎡ and auto parts and accessories zone covered 20,000㎡.  The number of exhibitors was 391, among which complete carmakers were 62 and auto parts and accessories producers were 329.  Four hundred ninety-eight (498) vehicles were shown at the exhibition, including 30 concept cars.
