In August 2004, VCA type approval engineers arrived in China to start testing the XMQ6127.

Testing started according to E.U directive R66 and King Long Structure resisted extremely well to this test which it passed without any difficulty.

Further testing had to be carried out in Xiangfan Proving Grounds, where VCA tested the Brake system, ABS, Seat Belt Anchorage, Noise test, Head impact test, Inflammability test and much more.

BIE (Malta) Ltd and Xiamen King Long become more confident with the positive results that they decided to test more models and until today Xiamen King Long have 6 Models fully Type Approved.

By the end of 2006 all models of Xiamen King Long will be fully type approved and every new model that will be introduced in the Market shall be fully type approved before its release for sale to the vast clients of BIE (Malta) Ltd and Xiamen King Long.
