Malta was a good start and a platform for King Long Buses in Europe , where thousands of European tourists have already used the public transport, cruising across the Maltese island and enjoying the comfort of King Long Buses built in China .

In these past two years Mr. Christopher Cassar, Managing Director BIE (Malta) Ltd had been working intensely with King Long United Automotive Industry Co. Ltd, to obtain full type approval for their buses. With these tests King Long managed to improve their product and met all European mandatory directives. During these tests there were various visits from VCA and VOSA testing engineers who were impressed with the high standard of King Long buses.

2005 would be the year during which BIE (Malta) Ltd, also to be known as King Long Europe for this particular project, will take part in some of the most prestigious bus shows in Europe. BIE (Malta ) Ltd shall be establishing its entire sales network to promote China's first ever Bus into Europe .

In this respect in 2005 BIE (Malta) Ltd shall be affiliating itself with reliable partners in Europe to appoint professional distributors in each territory, to ensure a 5 star service to its clients across Europe .
