More than 100,000 buses are meanwhile equipped with modern low-floor-axle technology from ZF in highly populated areas and megacities around the globe. Since 2002 most modern full low floor buses have been installed in Beijing with latest ZF-low floor axle technology. At the end of this year, more than 2500 buses will be put in service with ZF-axle, steering and partly also transmission technology.

ZF is the expert in the field of driveline and chassis technology. Donated this time, the front axle system for city bus RL 85A and rear axle system for city bus AV 132 are the two ZF mature products with customer oriented, safety, and comfortable features. The low floor front axle system RL 85A with disc brakes and optimally tuned suspension and spring system is available for vehicle widths from 2.3 to 2.6 meters. It is high robustness and easy maintenance and provides without limiting driving comfort. ZF offers the AV 132 as an axle system. Apart from the axle with disc or brakes, this includes all components needed for suspension, springs and damping, as well as ABS/ ASR and brake wear sensor. It offer greater passenger comfort and facilitate swift boarding and exiting.
